Content Marketing Specialist 
 
Are you at the cutting-edge of content, marketing, social media and brands? Are you interested in technology, with your finger on the pulse of current affairs and trends?

As SMG’s Content Marketing Specialist, you will support all content and marketing output with a focus on brand awareness, lead-gen and customer engagement. This will include everything from blog, report and webinar strategy to direct-mail marketing comms and social media support.

What we need in this role:
A wordsmith, content powerhouse, and analytical thinker with a finger on the pulse of industry trends. A marketing all-rounder with a focus on content, you create cutting-edge video, sharp copy, and engaging webinars and podcasts. But you don’t stop there—you distribute, monitor, and optimize content using data. With a background in marketing or communications, you bring hands-on experience and a creative, disruptive mindset to this role.
 
  • Exceptional copywriting skills.
  • Expertise in video editing, graphic design, and short-form content creation.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content marketing, and distribution.
  • Understanding of social media advertising.
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, KPIs, and content strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in content management.
  • Ability to tailor messaging for different social media platforms.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
What you’ll need to succeed: 

Webinars & Events
  • Develop and lead a monthly webinar program to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Host dynamic, insightful webinars, collaborating with industry experts.
  • Manage the full webinar lifecycle, from guest sourcing to post-event analysis.
  • Exceed industry benchmarks for sign-ups, attendance, and conversions.
Podcast
  • Build and execute a monthly podcast strategy to engage targeted buyer profiles.
  • Own the full process, from guest sourcing to promotion, hosting, and performance analysis.
Content Creation
  • Produce industry leading blogs, videos, reports, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to create engaging video content.
  • Support thought leadership with PR content, infographics, and social media assets.
  • Apply SEO best practices to optimize content performance.
Content Analysis
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content distribution and engagement.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to refine content strategy.
  • Grow newsletter sign-ups, web traffic, and social media interactions.
